Dr. Naveen Kumar Gondhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SMVDU, presented his recent research paper titled “Survey on Machine learning based scheduling in Cloud Computing” in the 2017 International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Meta-heuristics & Swarm Intelligence (ISMSI 2017) held in Hong Kong.
This International conference was organized under the ages of ACM International and International Neural Network Society (INNS-INDIA) Regional Chapter. The conference was attended by scientists, researchers and scholars from 21 different countries across the world.
Dr Naveen Kumar Gondhi highlighted the algorithms and techniques for scheduling of virtual machines to provide dynamic load balancing, dynamic scalability and reallocation of resources. He elaborated the various Intelligent algorithms used for the optimization of results and minimizing the makespan scheduling while utilizing the resources efficiently based on dynamic environment such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Simulated annealing (SA), Tabu Search (TS), Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Artificial Immune System (AIS), Bacterial Foraging Algorithm (BF), Fish Swarm Optimization Algorithm (FS), Cat Swarm Optimization Algorithm (CS), Firefly Algorithm (FF), Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CS), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC), Bat Algorithm (BA).
Dr. Gondhi is highly grateful to the SMVDU authorities for funding his visit to Hong Kong, under PDA grant for attending this international conference for learning and sharing of knowledge.
