Ms. Reya Sharma, Research Scholar, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, has attended 3rd International Conference on Next Generation Computing Technologies (NGCT 2017) organised by University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
During the Conference, Ms.Reya Sharma presented a paper entitled “A Model for Resource Constraint Project Scheduling Problem Using Quantum inspired PSO”. The research paper focused on potential of using Quantum inspired PSO for solving the RCPSP problem. Ms. Reya also got the opportunity to interact with eminent academicians, researcher scholars, scientist and industrial experts across the globe working in the field of Soft Computing, Fuzzy Control, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning and shared the recent ideas with them.
It is pertinent to mentioned that Ms. Reya Sharma is currently working on handwritten script recognition using Machine Learning Classifiers and also pursuing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Baijnath Kaushik, Head and Associate Professor of Computer Science and co-supervision of Dr. Naveen Kumar Gondhi, Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain congratulated Ms. Reya for attending the International Conference.
