SMVDU Katra: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University continues with its initiative of being an important part of the Digital Revolution of the Government of India and signed an Agreement with CDSL to join National Academic Depository (NAD). NAD is an important initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to facilitate issuance and storage of academic awards of students in an online depository thus making it easier for students to get their documents verified on-line for the purpose of admission to institution of higher learning or by their prospective employers, informed Mr. S. This is done to eliminate fraudulent practices such as forging of certificates and mark-sheets and facilitate validation. A NAD awareness and training program was organised in the University. The representative of NAD, Mr. Inderjeet Singh, Dy.
