Dr. Supran Kumar Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, conducted a training session on ‘Predictive Analytics-Need of Modern Decision Making Process’ in the workshop on ‘Predictive Analytics’ organized by the Department of Management and Commerce, Jagan Nath University. Dr. Sharma explained the algorithmic process in which the analysis is performed with highly specialized software running on robust machines with high computing power that allows the processing of vast amounts of data accurately & fast.

During the session, Dr. Sharma emphasized that predictive analytics is helping businesses in fields as diverse as healthcare, retailing, hospitality, and insurance peer into the future to optimize inventories, manage staff, enhance customer engagement, set pricing and achieve many other profit-building goals.
