Ms. Sana Gupta, alumnus of visited the School of Business to share her corporate experiences with students of School of Business. Ms. Sana Gupta 2011-12 batch passout is presently associated with a US-based MNC in London. During her interaction she brought to light the various challenges and practices concerned with starting up of business outside India. She also talked about the cost of setting up a business in India vis-a- vis foreign countries. She talked about her challenges while she was trying to establish herself in foreign land. She also discussed about the relevance of classroom teaching in corporate work life. She told to the students that the basic mantra for survival in corporate world is the innovative ideas. She also emphasised on importance of CV for freshers as it gives the reflection about the person. She concluded her session highlighting the importance of keeping a balance between the professional and personal life especially in case of business women.
Ms. Divyani 2016-17 batch pass out and alumnus of MBA also interacted with MBA students. She is presently working in Mahindra First Choice, Chandigarh. She pointed out that for long term survival in the corporate world, first three months of corporate life are very crucial. With one to one discussion mode, she cleared many doubts of the students regarding selection of specialisation courses in MBA for future. She underlined the facilitating role played by case studies and teaching pedagogy of MBA course at SMVDU to equip the students for future corporate challenges.
