For students of M.Sc. (Mathematics) the School of Mathematics offers some lab based courses such as Computer programming, Numerical methods, Queuing theory, Econometrics and Minor project. School of Mathematics is having a computer laboratory which consists of 35 computer systems well equipped with C-compiler for programming in C, and the Latex software for mathematical typesetting. One printer and one scanner are also installed in laboratory to facilitate the students. All computers in the lab possess internet connectivity. The facilities of computer lab are also utilized by research students of the School of Mathematics.

1. Computer Laboratory

The Computer Laboratory is well equipped with mathematics software as well as softwares pertaining to Computer Programming. The work conducted :

• Computer Programming in C, C++
• Implementation of Numerical Methods
• Latex documentation

2. Library

The School of Mathematics has set up a school library with the support of NBHM. The Library has sufficient number of books in the following areas: Algebra, Operator Theory, Topology, Calculus, Statistics, Operation Research and Numerical Methods.
