SMVDU Katra, December 2019. Mr. Shubham Mahajan, Ph.D. Scholar, School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), has been awarded with the prestigious IEEE Region 10 Travel Grant during the IEEE Signal Processing Winter School and International Conference on Signal Processing, Information, Communication and Systems (SPICSCON 2019) on 28th November 2019 at Dhaka- Bangladesh. The IEEE region 10 includes Asia and Pacific region, and the grant covered all cost to attend the industrial track and present the research work, where he would interact with different industry experts. He also proposed the model Next Generation Drones & Radio Based Disaster Management on topic “Real Life Implementation of Robotics and Automation in Disaster Management” in IEEE RAS HACKATHON which is to be awarded. The candidate thanked his supervisor, Dr. Amit Kant Pandit, and the Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, and their support and encouragements.
