Ms. Shagun Gupta declared qualified for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.. She worked on the topic “On-Chip Tuberculosis Diagnostics,” under the supervision of Dr. Vipan Kakkar, Associate Professor, School of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SMVDU, Katra.

During her Ph.D., she has published 04 SCI/SCIE indexed in the peer-reviewed International Journals of repute and published 02 book chapters with a reputed publishing house.She has also presented many research papers in international and national conferences and is a recipient of FEMS Early Carrier Scientific Meeting Award at the 5th International Conference Microbial Diversity held at Catania, Italy. She has acknowledged UGC NET-JRF scheme for the fellowship provided to her during her Ph.D..
