Research scholar in the School of Biotechnology, Ms. Meenu Sharma, working under the supervision of Dr. Narendra K Bairwa and co-supervision of Prof. V.Verma has been awarded a FEMS Meeting Grant for Early Young Scientists in amount of 220 Euro. Ms. Meenu Sharma presented her research work in the FEMS meeting on “The Non- conventional Yeasts: from Basic Research to Application in Rzeszów, Poland from May 15-18, 2018. Her work was accepted for the presentation in the session: Sensing, Signaling, Stress Response and Membrane Transport. The meeting was organized by the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology, Faculty of Biology and Agriculture, University of Rzeszow, Poland and was supported by the International Commission on YEAST.
