SMVDU Katra, 05^th Oct. 2018. Flydex Automobiles, a startup sponsored by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University-Technology Business Incubation Centre, bagged third prize with an award of rupees one lakh cash at UP Startup Conclave 2018. The event was held at IIM, Lucknow, and jointly organized by Uttar Pradesh Gov Startup India and LMA Lucknow. Out of 426 startups under ‘Product & Ideation Stage’ category, Mr. Aksah Srivastava’s startup, who is also an alumnus of SMVDU, reached the final round, and recognized by the jury members, namely Mr.  Saurabh Jain, Vice-President Paytm; Mr. K.C. Ayyagari, Google Cloud and Mr. Digvijay Singh, COO, Indian Angel Networks. During the event, Flydex demonstrated its patented product “CarbaDex” which increases efficiency of 125cc bike average up to 150 KM/L without affecting the engine performance and life, an idea much appreciated by Mr. Mohsin Raja, Cabinet Minister MSME UP Government. Mr. Akash Srivastava formally thanked SMVDU Technology Business Incubation Centre for its support and guidance. Dr. Swarkar Sharma, CEO, SMVDU-TBIC informed that huge potential and outstanding technology-based ideas like Flydex were discovered and promoted by the SMVDU-TBIC. Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the alumnus, and appreciated the sincere efforts put up by SMVDU-TBIC team.
